Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line an 11 × 7 inch brownie baking pan with parchment paper.
Cut the butter and chocolate into small cubes in a heatproof bowl, place it over a pan of barely simmering water and allow the chocolate and butter to melt, stirring occasionally. Leave to cool at room temperature.
Beat the eggs and sugar until well combined.
Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the beaten egg mixture. Carefully mix using a spatula.
Sieve the flour and cocoa powder. Fold this into the chocolate and egg mixture using a spatula until well combined.
Pour the batter into the baking pan. Cut the Stroopwafels into pieces and distribute them evenly over the top of the brownie.
Bake the brownie in the oven for 30 minutes. Leave to cool, then cut into squares.
