Over a year ago, McDonald’s introduced the Dutch Stroopwafel McFlurry® in the United States as part of their Worldwide Favorites menu, causing many Americans to fall in love with the Dutch stroopwafel. Two thin layers of freshly baked dough, filled with a delicious caramel syrup – or ‘stroop’, as we say in Dutch.

Once you have all the ingredients, let the ice cream soften slightly outside the freezer while you chop the Stroopwafels into small pieces.
