Wonton With Stroopwafels

  • Wonton sheets
  • 8.81 oz ricotta cheese
  • Daelmans mini Stroopwafels
  • Icing sugar
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the Stroopwafels into quarters.
  2. Put a dollop of ricotta in the middle of a wonton sheet, place a piece of Stroopwafel on top and 'glue' the edges together using a little bit of water by folding the corners towards the middle and pressing firmly.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep-frying pan at 180°C. Place the wonton wraps in the oil and deep-fry for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a sheet of kitchen paper and sprinkle with icing sugar.
