Stroopwafel Donuts
  • 250 g self-rising baking flour
  • 400 ml whole milk
  • 1 to 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Daelmans mini Stroopwafels
  • 4 tbsp neutral oil
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Portions: 16

  1. First mix the wet ingredients (milk, eggs, oil) until smooth.
  2. Then sift in the self-rising baking flour and beat to a thick batter. Add the cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp tea towel and leave to rise for 80 min.
  4. Heat the oil in the frying pan to 180°C. Add the Daelmans mini stroopwafels to the batter, drain slightly and deep-fry until the dough is golden brown.
