New VAT calculation
VAT calculation for sales to consumers within the EU from 1-7-2021
The EU has drawn up new rules for the VAT calculation on deliveries within the EU, these new rules came into effect on 1-7-2021. From that date, for the calculation of the sales price (including VAT), the VAT rate of the country to which the goods are sent will be used. The VAT rates of the country to which the goods are shipped will determine the final sales price. Since the VAT rates in the countries of the EU vary considerably, this can cause different sales prices including VAT for purchases within the EU that are shipped to different EU countries.
The sales prices shown on our website include VAT and are based on the country in which you are located. Our site looks at your IP address to determine your location. Based on the VAT rates in that country, the sales prices are shown including VAT. If you choose a different country for the delivery address in the checkout, the VAT rate of the country of the delivery address will apply. As a result, the final sale price can be adjusted (this can be cheaper or more expensive, depending on the country you choose).
