Stroopwafel & Russian Cake Hybrid

  • 150g Sour cream
  • 150g Double cream
  • 60g Sugar
  • 1/2 of Tonka bean (can use vanilla exact instead)
  • Pack of Daelmans Stroopwafels
  • Walnuts
  • Caramel or Honey
  • Portions: 5


  1. Put sour cream, double cream and grated Tonka bean (if using) and using an electric mixer whip it all together until thickens.
  2. Spread some honey or caramel onto your serving plate (if using) and put your first layer of Stroopwafel on, spread some cream, put the second layer of Stroopwafel on and repeat the process, leaving the third layer without cream.
  3. Put a dollop of cream closer to one side of your dessert and put a walnut on top.
  4. Spread some caramel or honey on top, letting it drip on the sides.
