Overnight oats with peanut butter and Stroopwafel

One of the most popular breakfasts these days has to be overnight oats. They’re easy, healthy and there are countless variations you can make. Simply use the ingredients that make you happy! Stroopwafels are obviously the pièce de résistance in our recipe for homemade overnight oats. Perfect for when you really want to make a feast of a breakfast. As the name suggests, you make these overnight oats the night before and refrigerate them overnight. The next morning, garnish your delicious breakfast with the Stroopwafel pieces.


  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ Daelmans Stroopwafel
  • 45 g oats
  • 100 ml (plant-based) milk
  • Portions: 1

  1. Mash half of the banana. Add the mashed banana, peanut butter, oats and (plant-based) milk to a container or jar and mix well.
  2. Cover the container or close the jar and refrigerate the oats overnight.
  3. Slice the rest of the banana and cut the Stroopwafel into pieces.
  4. Remove the overnight oats from the refrigerator and decorate with the banana and the Stroopwafel.
