Maximize a “stay at home” summer
Out of office on? Check! Sun shining? Hmmm… well, some of the time. Schools closed? CHECK!
If you hadn’t noticed yet, it’s summer! A great time to kick-back, relax and spend some quality time with friends and family. If you don’t have plans to jet away on an exotic vacay, not to worry, there are plenty of ways you can enjoy your summer closer to home this year.
Be a tourist in your own country
If the travel restrictions have taught us one thing, it’s that beauty lies on our doorstep. Take some time to explore places that you have never had time to before. You can often find some hidden gems without having to hop on a plane.
Enjoy your own space
Just enjoying time in your garden or at home, with a book and coffee is a great way to relax. Something we don’t always have time to do with the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Get active
Having free time is a great opportunity to get active. Pack a picnic and go for a long walk or jump on your bike… not forgetting your Stroopwafels of course! 😉
Recreate that exotic vacation feeling
Italian gelato, smores round the fire, iced coffee, American pancakes… although you might not be heading to more exotic climbs, it doesn’t mean your tastebuds can’t experience that holiday experience either. Check out our recipe pages for Stroopwafel inspired summer treats.
Embrace the not-so-sunny days
Although we can’t promise you days of blue skies and warm sunshine, what we can offer you is a gooey Stroopwafel melting on top of a warm *insert your hot drink of choice here*.
Whether you are exploring close to home, or if you are lucky enough to be jetting off on holiday this year, make sure your Stroopwafels go with you, after all there is always a good moment for a Daelmans Stroopwafel.
